At Adoptions of Indiana we are excitingly preparing for our 2nd annual In It For The Long Run 5K Family Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, September 18th. This run is not only an extraordinary time for our families to celebrate, but it holds a very special meaning for our staff to reconnect with the children and parents we have worked with in the past. This event raises the necessary funds to provide women in crisis pregnancies with adoption option counseling, specific financial assistance, and long-term counseling and support services. It’s a vital fundraiser that makes sure that we are there in the long run.
Grab your friends, family, and neighbors to come out and enjoy a fun-filled day with a little exercise, dancing, activities for the whole family, and great food. You are bound to make some new friends and network with our phenomenal families.
Here is some important information about the 5K:
Where: Hendricks Regional Health/YMCA (301 Satori Parkway, Avon, IN 46123)
When: Sunday, September 18th
- Registration will open at 11:00 am.
- Kids Race 12:30 pm.
- 5K Start time: 1:00 pm.

Busy that day? Not a problem! You can still make a donation to Adoptions of Indiana on the registration page. Your contribution provides services such as counseling and support to expectant parents, to adoptive parents, and to adult adoptees throughout their lives – even for adoptions we didn’t facilitate. Whether a birth mother calls with questions about how to explain the adoption to her other children, a parent needs resources for their transracially adopted child, or an adult adoptee is searching for his birthparents, we’re there to help!
