MARK YOUR CALENDARS

We are doing something a little different for our annual fundraiser this year! Join Adoptions of Indiana at Victory Field for a day of baseball, family & fun! On Sunday, August 18, the Indianapolis Indians take on Lehigh Valley Ironpigs and we want to see our AOI family there.  First pitch is at 1:35 pm and its “Kids Eat Free” Sunday!

AND THE BEST PART IS THAT THE PUPS FROM PAW PATROL WILL ALSO BE THERE CHEERING ON THE INDIANS! Tickets are $15 and will be available on our website soon! Kiddos two and under are free. We hope to see you there!

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to receive counseling.

Sometimes people shy away at the idea of “counseling”. Counseling doesn’t mean laying on a couch and telling all of your secrets while someone takes notes and judges you. At Adoptions of Indiana, options counseling can mean grabbing a cup of coffee and talking about your interests and hobbies. It can mean getting together for lunch and talking about what life would look like if you parented your baby and what support systems you have in place. Our goal is to help you make the right choice for you and your baby.

We pride ourselves on our relationships with our clients. A trained and impartial social worker, familiar with adoption, should be available from the beginning to help you review all your options and make the best plan for you and your baby. You should be able to come back for counseling and support services or to supply updated information at any time. An established agency understands adoption is a life-long process and not a spur of the moment decision.
