We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out on October 8th to celebrate, build community, and fundraise! The turnout was awesome and we loved the new location at the Downtown Indy Canal Walk. There was an endless supply of kids’ activities and Clif bars and the DJ kept things groovy. The Halloween costumes added a flair to the festivities; both Batman and Spiderman made an appearance!
The Numbers: 237 participants, 758.2 miles walked/run, and over $22,000 raised.
We could NOT have done it without our volunteers and 5k committee. Thank you to everyone who came to evening planning meetings, stuffed bags, set up tents, and helped with clean up! It really was a team effort and we’re so grateful!
