If you decide an adoption plan is best for you and your child we can help you with pregnancy related assistance such as: help with rent/housing, utilities, lost wages and living expenses as allowable by Indiana law.

Medical Expenses

We can assist you in applying for state medical insurance and other public assistance services. If you have private insurance, any co-pays and deductibles would be the responsibility of the adopting parents.

We have wonderful prospective adoptive families who embrace open adoption and will treat you with respect and compassion. They have been carefully screened, educated on adoption related topics, and desire to have an open adoption, but will respect whatever level of relationship you believe is best.

Yes! All of our prospective adoptive families desire openness.

Under Indiana law parents do not need to be told. Once you’re pregnant, in the eyes of the court you are considered an adult regarding your pregnancy. Let’s talk. You decide.

An adoption plan is a plan. There is no final/ legal decision until after the baby is born. An adoption plan will include understanding your rights, options counseling, and may include choosing and getting to know the adoptive family and developing the right relationship for you. It includes communicating your wishes in a hospital plan and support at the hospital, regardless of your decision.

In Indiana, a consent for adoption may be signed after the child’s birth. Most hospitals require 24-48 hours prior to signing legal documents.
